We recently received the most wonderful message in our inbox from the fantastic couple Laura & Will who won the Leicester Mercury Win A Wedding Competition 2015. We would like to say it is so humbling when people take the time to send such wonderful kind words.

"Hi Ed and Victoria

The mercury have just been in touch as they are restarting the competition and wanted to hear from us. I mentioned that I want the suppliers to recieve the credit they deserve as there was never a follow up article and I realised we still haven't emailed you with how great you were. I think it's because it's so hard to put into words but I'l try.

Out of all the suppliers Ed was one of the biggest parts of our day. He was there during the planning, the morning preparations and throughout the day. When we entered the win a wedding competition I looked up the suppliers and instantly knew I would be happy with the photographer if we won. When we met Ed he confirmed exactly what I had been thinking, not only did his work look fantastic but he is such a friendly guy with a warm personality that within seconds of meeting him you feel relaxed about everything. He listened to the photos we wanted and gave advice not just about being our photographer but about when we meet the registrar and any other parts of the planning we were uncertain or nervous about. Ed and Victoria were always quick to reply to emails and anything we were unsure about was explained quickly to us.
On our wedding day Ed made everyone feel comfortable, he was more like a friend to everyone aswell as a photographer. We never once felt rushed into having photos or felt we were neglecting our guests. Ed took the group photos then let us have a drink and spend time with people, every so often he would appear again and ask if we were ready for more pictures together. We honestly felt we missed out on no part of the day and the times we had our photos were a much needed break together to move away from everyone, gather our thoughts and have a laugh. Ed was there to try to calm me down when I was stressed and snappy, make us smile and enjoy our day.
We also had bethany there on the day, she was with Will and the ushers in the morning and was a second photographer during the day. I was nervous as I hadn't seen Bethanys work before but I knew Ed wouldn't have someone he wasn't happy with. When we got the photos I was amazed at how well Ed and Bethany capured our day. Having Bethany there meant extra moments were captured, including the grooms preperations, and all the photos were overwhelming brilliant. No part of our day was missed and we have those photos to always treasure. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Ed there and I thank him for everything he did for us. We may have won the leicester mercury win a wedding competition but we never once felt like we were treated any differently to someone who was paying for his service. He showed just as much care into our special day as I can imagine he would show anyone else. He wanted to make sure all those special moments were captured and thanks to him we have those memories forever.
