A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO VICTORIA | SUNSHINE LADY

16 years full time in the photography industry

FOUNDER, BUSINESS PARTNER, MANAGER, CUSTOMER LIAISON & PERSON OF MANY ROLES, ONCE PHOTOGRAPHER OF MANY GENRES, MAKEUP SUPERVISOR/ ARTIST/MAC PRO ARTIST/ PORTRAIT SALES TRAINER/ PHOTOGRAPHY SALES PERSON, POSING TRAINER & FREELANCE FASHION & BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER. COMMISSIONED TO WORK WITH CELEBRITIES, SPORTS STARS & ACTORS TOO :)

I would just like to put a big congratulations to Victoria for all of her hard work and achievements working in the photography industry full-time for 16 years now.

Victoria initially started in the photography industry after returning from travelling, starting in the industry in portrait sales, she was also a photography portrait sales trainer and female & couple posing trainer, photographer and makeup artist. Victoria has also qualified as a master photographer [14 years ago] and specialised in photography of women within portrait studios and on a freelance basis.

Victoria has a BA Honours degree in Visual Communications, specialising in illustration, loves creativity, art and design and has herself had many large abstract paintings and original fine art prints commissioned and sold to businesses in London and throughout the UK and had her artwork exhibited in art galleries.

She also has experience in marketing, promotions work and commission based sales.

Victoria also trained & qualified in makeup artistry, special effects, wig making and postiche making and has worked with celebrities, actors and her work have appeared in the glossies and tabloids too. She has worked on a feature film and independent films, music videos, theatrical projects, spending time at the National film and T.V school on a film and The Royal Shakespeare Company whilst training.

She has also worked within competitive event photography, photographing & selling at hundreds of events before moving into the wedding industry, we travelled many miles and visited lots of interesting places.

Victoria is the Latin word for 'victory' or 'conquer' and is used as the feminine form corresponding to the name Victor. In Roman mythology, Victoria was the name of the goddess of victory, corresponding to the Greek goddess Nike.

Victoria is now the creative visualizer behind the Ed Brown Photography brand, marketing strategies, product development, purchasing decisions, seo, instagram and company goals. Victoria is extremely forward-thinking and makes sure our brand is a little different and off beat always trying to go against the grain.

Even though Victoria is extremely creative she no longer takes photographs however concentrates on managing our company, providing the best service, customer journey, innovating and increasing awareness of the company brand and far too many business ideas.  Victoria is the first welcoming point of call when clients contact us via our website and deals with any pricing and other questions too.

MAVERICK // an unorthodox or independent-minded person = Victoria :)

Victoria is ever evolving in the company, so it will be interesting what she has planned next, I know that she has lots planned, perhaps for a new business venture?

Even though Victoria has been in the photographic industry full-time for a long time with many other years professional experience in different creative areas all which has enabled Ed Brown Photography to grow and develop, she is a very modest person. She is the secret weapon that makes Ed Brown Photography the success and together we were really pleased to win the Wedding Industry Awards for the best Photography Company in the East Midlands 2019.

Thank you to Victoria for being my motivation, my inspiration and my best friend over all these years, you truly are the most talented, modest, kind and creative person I have ever known. My sunshine lady ! X

Big congratulations for your 16 years in the industry
