The second part of the styled shoot at the beautiful Nottingham Castle with the wedding venue decor stylist ‘On a Day Like This’.

The concept of the shoot was ‘New Age Vintage’.

Lots of talented wedding suppliers and brands joined in collaboration on the day to make this shoot the huge success it was including, On a Day Like this- wedding and event stylists, Timeless Couture- bridal, Mrs Umbels- wedding florist, Yummy Little Cakes- wedding cake maker, Polly and Me- wedding stationery and wedding signage, VM hair- wedding hair, Gail Berry- wedding make up and models-Sarah and Samuel.

The stunning wedding venue is a 17th century mansion that is built on the Castle Rock high above the city and is surrounded by a wonderful Victorian park. The wedding venue provides spectacular views of the city and surrounding landscape.

Nottingham Castle is now being offered to wedding couples as a a unique and impressive wedding venue either for a full ceremony, grand reception or for drinks and canapés in the bandstand. Some of the beautiful areas offered to wedding couples for hire are: 

The Long Gallery

An elegant Victorian gallery with Old Masters from the museum’s collection. The room is immensely spacious and the largest space available for hire.

The South Bastion

Situated in the gatehouse the Bastion is unique and perfect for intimate wedding ceremonies or pre-reception drinks.

The Cafe at the Castle

A contemporary area available for evening hire with access to the terrace and panoramic views of the city.

The Bandstand

This is within the grounds of the Castle and is ideal for pre-reception drinks and wedding photographs.

Marquees in the Grounds

A unique wedding reception at Nottingham Castle with a marquee within the Castle Green.
